you’re aiming to shed a few pounds and you’ve decided that walking is the way you’re
going to do this, then there are 4 important factors that you need to

Walking to lose weight is the same as any other type of exercise
YOU NEED TO DO IT
REGULARLY... Once or twice a week isn’t
You should aim to do some type of walking at
least once a day. Don’t worry, I’m not suggesting that you should walk for an hour each time,
there are far more efficient ways of walking for weight loss than this.
2. Build up
Yes you need to walk often, this is true. But
you should still build up gently if you aren’t used to exercise.
It’s a good idea to do some walking every day,
even if it's just shorter distances to begin with.
3. Don’t just meander along and
take in the views on every walk you do.
Mix things up, push yourself out of your
comfort zone. Try some longer slower walks where you can relax and enjoy your surroundings by
all means, but you also need to do some shorter more intense walks where you use power walking
techniques, to boost fat loss.
4. Make some small adjustments to
Let’s be very clear on one thing, whichever
activity you choose to help you to shed the pounds, it’s absolutely vital that you reduce the amount of calories you
eat each day, or at least improve the quality of those calories.
If you just start walking but don’t
